System Simulation of Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request in Full-Duplex Device-to-Device Wireless Network

Abstract

Nowadays while the network technology is developing and the popularity of mobile device is decreasing the importance of Device-to-Device(D2D) Communication System rapidly increased Also Full-Duplex(FD) technology which allows transmit and receive packet at the same time and the same frequency has come to be one of the most significant trends because of the require of high spectrum efficiency However applying full-duplex technology might cause unreliable transmission due to higher instantaneous data rate To solve the problem we’re going to apply Hybrid Automatic Retransmission Request(HARQ) to our model in this paper Hybrid-ARQ provides reliable transmission by combing the protocol that can retransmit packet Automatic Retransmission Request (ARQ) with channel coding Moreover the influence of using channel inversion one of the power control method is also a discussion in our paper Thus we are going to create a full-duplex device-to-device wireless network then observe how each system that applies different types of HARQ and channel inversion works at outage probability average number of retransmission and spectrum efficiency
