Abstract

In this research we intend to use computer software GMS (Groundwater Modeling System) to construct a three-dimensional mesh for the study area (Nan-Shih-Keng landslide area Tainan) by the topography data of this area at first Then we conduct a three-dimensional geometry analysis by borehole data and to model a three-dimensional geological distribution Next we conduct mudflow of ground water by using annual water level well data Secondly we will write a program via MATLAB the most significant work to compiles the GMS analysis results into another software FLAC3D (Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua in 3 Dimensions) Finally we conduct a simulation of slope stability The research will simulate the change of stratum shear stress and plastic zone on research region to predict the collapse potential range based on shear resistance through a series of analyzes And the security alert range will be put forward through the shear strength reduction assessment on this project work
