Abstract

With the advent of the era of Industry 4 0 the manufacturing sector is faced with the paper-free procedures and systems The application of artificial intelligence and big data are also involved in the industrial transformation Based on the system development life cycle this study further develops and discusses the development of the intelligent inspection system in different stages while the traditional equipment inspection operation is carried out electronically Based on the system life cycle cloud computing is combined with intelligent applications The system development process which includes: demand analysis planning and design program development functional integration efficiency and maintenance and the development and demand units find system consensus in the early interaction between the two parties Firstly the development unit in early interactions; then the building of the system by engineers in diverse teams of the development unit; next those responsible for evaluating system effectiveness and finally the long-term maintenance of the system This describes traditional inspection work and hints at what will change from the paper inspection to the intelligent inspection system The research method adopts the case study approach and considers F petrochemical manufacturing company as the example This company has been established in Taiwan for more than 60 years and has taken on a large number of continuous manufacturing processes Therefore special care must be taken in the routine inspection operations to prevent a loss in production due to abnormal equipment and machine shutdown The process of communication between the unit owner and application developers was taken into consideration as the company faced importing a new information system as well as selecting the outsourcing and self-developed The development of mature cloud computing technology requires different teams of engineers to work together such as those involved in web function development mobile device software development and database application In addition there is platform integration which combines with the Industry 4 0 and the AI big data that relates to new intelligent applications These ultimately build the system function on the website/mobile device platform and thus the different job roles each play a crucial part in the situation Finally through user feedback and data flow the follow-up evaluations on effectiveness and further maintenance will be carried out The process of this study was from traditional systems to intelligent ones and demonstrates how the intelligent inspection system will improve the inspection operation and enhance the tangible benefits (real-time notification intelligent analysis prediction and maintenance and the intangible benefits (history record and system extensibility) and provides suggestions on the transformation processes or system development requirements and applications for traditional enterprises
