Abstract
This research is aimed at probing teaching team in elementary School how to enchance the accomplishment of team teaching with team management strategies,and humbly proposing a personal conclusion and suggestion to educationaladministration authority,elementary school administration and teaching team manager,and future researcher.
The research methods are literary analysis and questionnaire survey and semistructured interview.
First,to use the questionnaire by mails,investigate the related information of teaching team in elementary School use team management and the accomplishment of team teaching,and analyze the results.Then according to the results,make interview outline.Finally,make conclusion from the discovery of the research.
The survey was targeted for teachers in Tainan city and county、kashong city and county、Pitong county who has ever participated in team teaching for one or more years.1116 samples were delivered,and 857 of them retrieved.Their
information was analyzed by means,stanard deviations,one-way ANOVA,canonial correlation Analysis and concluded as follow:
1.The degree of using team management for teaching
teams in elementary school and the accomplishment
of team teaching are the type of‘medium-high’.
2.The degree of using team management for teaching
teams which have 3-4 or 5-6 members are higher
than teaching teams which have 2members.
3.The degree of using team management for teaching
teams which are formed by the way teachers seek
for companions or based on teaching needs are
higher than teaching teams which are formed by
school executives assign.
4.There is high positive correlation between the
degree of using the strategies for enchancing
team climate of teaching teams in elementary
school and the degree of enchancing
collaboration.
5.There are canonical correlation between the
dimensions of the degree of using team
management for teaching teams and the ones of the
accomplishment of team teaching.
Acocording to those statistic analysis and research,the outline of inquiry was deviced.The samples were pinpointed on nine teachers who have ever participated in team teaching for one or more years.The inquiry was proceeded.Then,its content was analyzed and assessed according to the strategy that teaching teams use,integrated into Literary and statistic research to set forth to a few suggestions:
I.The research proposes suggestion to educational
administration authority:To hold seminars about
team management.
II.The research proposes suggestion to school
executives:
1.To Empower teachers form teaching team.
2.Teaching team prefers to have 3-6 members.
3.To give attention and assisst the situation that
team management and the accomplishment of team
teaching for teaching teams.
4.To respect the professional autonomy of teacher.
III.The research proposes suggestion to teaching
team manager:
1.The suggestions about enchancing “team
climate”:
(1)Teaching team manager should respect to and
concern with members.
(2)To build the channel of communcation.
2.The suggestions about enchancing “ The executive
quality of team task” :
(1)The teaching team should have consensus toward
the goals and contents of teaching team.
(2)The task responsibility of teaching team
should have Precise division.
(3)Teaching team manager should be on the premise
of respecting members’ profession and
opinions,integrate and coordinate the process
of task.
3.The suggestions about enchancing “team
decision-making efficiency”:
(1)The confliction of team meeting should be on
the premise of compling with the mass of
members,and respect to the few of ones.
(2)Teaching team manager should prepare with the
questions of discussion in order to
strangthen the efficiency of team meeting
decision-making.
