Abstract

Because of the development of the automatic imaging system and the relevant technologies the traditional medical inspections which require visual inspections such as Pap smear identification has benefited from these advancement Could other identifications such as tuberculosis smear identification which also requires visual inspection benefit from the similar technologies like Pap smear has? Advanced medical innovation team of National Cheng Kong University has successfully made the prototype called TB Smear Automatic Identification System and the system has obtained pronominal performance at its pre-test stage However it seems the team has faced some obstacles along the way to move forward of this innovated automated system Hoping through the review of the successful experience from Pap smear automatic imaging system and through the case interviews in this study we will be able to elicit the factors influencing the acceptance of the TB smear automatic identification system Inspired by Technology Acceptance Model and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology this study is trying to induce the possibilities and the factors affecting the acceptance of TB smear automatic identification system through the following perspectives: 1 performance expectancy 2 doctor-patient relationship transform 3 competition intensity 4 government policy by the designed interviews with the end potential users
