This article takes the annual seasons of "Jin Ping Mei" as the research object By analyzing the origin development and custom characteristics of the important seasons in the novel the author discusses how the author uses the seasons' humanistic image to dominate the plot and fully describes the journey of Simon’s family from the prosperity to the decline Based on the narrative features of "Jin Ping Mei" seasonal seasons we further analyze whether the later family novels-"Xing Shi Yin Yuan Zhuan " "Lin Lan Xiang" and "Hong Lou Meng" depend on the seasonal seasons in the process of creation And at the same time inherit or change the narrative features of "Jin Ping Mei"
