Abstract

Ma Jian begins creating fiction since 1980 Ma Jian's fiction is based on life experiences including knowledge of travel and personal experience He uses diversified writing technique and the culture of ethnic minorities as writing materials and shows the thinking of history Using Ma Jian's two prose and fiction as research object this master’s thesis discusses conformation of world view and concern of creation In terms of research methods this master’s thesis uses textual analysis At the same time analyzes point of discussion and writing technique in Ma Jian's fiction Moreover having a dialogue with Ma Jian through Ma Jian's interview commentary and research this master’s thesis appears literary value of Ma Jian's fiction In terms of academic contribution this paper is the first master’s thesis of Ma Jian 's fiction and confirms not only position of Ma Jian but also specificity of Ma Jian's fiction in literary history Accordingly this master’s thesis has worth importance and assistance for the development of Ma Jian's research in the future
