組織簡介
「生科學院」於94年由原屬理學院之「生命科學系」、「生物多樣性研究所」、「生物科技研究所」一系二所成立，95學年由本校具國際競爭力與特色之生物訊息傳遞研究團隊增設「生物訊息傳遞研究所」，96學年成立「生物資訊研究所」，97學年成立「熱帶植物科學研究所」。目前院內系所整合，於99學年度「生物資訊研究所」與「生物訊息傳遞研究所」合併成為「生物資訊與訊息傳遞研究所」，於100學年度「生物多樣性研究所」整併至「生命科學系」，104學年成立「生物科技與產業科學系」。本院積極結合醫學、理學、工學及電資學院相關系所進行跨領域合作，以增加「生科學院」教學研究能量，並積極完成「生科學院」教學研究團隊之組建與重整，藉由團隊整合凝聚研究發展方向與能量，發展成世界頂尖的研究型學院。本院積極結合醫學、理學、工學及電資學院相關系所進行跨領域合作，以增加「生科院」教學研究能量，並積極完成「生科學院」教學研究團隊之組建與重整，藉由團隊整合凝聚研究發展方向與能量，發展成各領域世界頂尖的研究型學院。本校另設有相關研究中心：「生物科技中心」、「精緻農業與生物資源中心」、「農業生物技術研究中心」、「海洋生物及鯨豚研究中心」、「蘭花研發中心」及「蝦類疾病控制與育種研究中心」，以加深及加廣研究能量。
