組織簡介
為發展綜合大學之目標，本校於民國88年9月向教育部提出設立政治學系申請，並於次年獲教育部審議通過。本系乃於民國90年正式成立，並於該學年度招收第一屆學士班學生。相較於其他大學的政治系，本系依照自我屬性、配合本校教育方針，訂定「通才教育」、「周延訓練」、「國際視 野」及「社會關懷」等四大目標，透過「政治理論與方法」、「國家行政與治理」及「全球與區域政治」三大領域專業課程設計，培育具備開創、溝通及 整合能力的政治學人才。依據核心目標，本系持續完善課程規劃，並強化各項自我 修正機制之有效運作，適應學生暨國家社會之需求。
