組織簡介
本所之設立乃為配合成大醫學中心發展之需要，培育基礎醫學研究及教學方面之博士學位人才，利用成大醫學院現有的生化、藥理、生理、微生物及免疫學、分子醫學、細胞生物及解剖、醫事技術及生物檢驗等碩士班研究所及寄生蟲、病理學科的人才及物力資源。教學上彼此配合，開授整合性之生命科學相關課程；在研究上以研究群的方式，彼此支援，進一步整合發展現有的研究工作，以培養從事基礎醫學研究之優秀博士人才。並配合本校現有臨床醫學及理工學院之資源，發展跨學門之重點科技，使其成為重要的生物醫學科學研究中心。
