組織簡介
背景與歷史沿革
1984年成大醫學院創立，醫學系設牙科學科。韓良俊教授參與規劃。
1988年成大醫院牙醫部啟用，王東堯醫師任第一任主任。
2002年成立口腔醫學研究所(口醫所)，靳應台教授任第一任所長。口醫所、牙科學科、牙醫部如並行軌道，共同執行臨床、教學、研究並重的任務。也讓成大的師資編制更茁壯。
2007 年成大醫院牙醫部更名為成大醫院口醫部。成大口醫部已養成眾多牙醫師或專科醫師、牙醫師資，也提供地區或全國性教學活動，成為南部地區牙醫師繼續教育的重要基石。
2019 年成大牙醫系設立。
