N2 - With the rapid development of BIM technologies, it has had a significant positive impact on the construction industry. However, there are still many challenges in terms of applying BIM in decoration. For example, detailed component modeling is time-consuming and labor-intensive and unable to provide the complete information needed for construction. In order to improve related issues, this research builds the framework of integrating BIM and ontology models, and further develops BIM intelligent modules to capture information that meets the needs of decoration based on spatial boundary conditions. These modules can automatically output information that meets the needs of project management. With the intelligent module developed, BIM information can be analyzed to the level of detail required. In addition, the automated process of retrieving and exporting information can reduce the error of human judgment.
