N2 - This study translated the field of patent to a visualized concept map in order to explore the knowledge structure of patent field and define the standard of measurement (e.g. Concept unit, Hierarchies, Linking, Branching and Example). A real example is used in this study to explain how to explore the knowledge structure of claims and establish the basic measurement data through a concept map.
