N2 - We present a new track fitting algorithm for high energy physics experiments dedicated for handling the non-Gaussian detector effects. It uses a comprehensive propagation model to predict the particle trajectory, as well as flexible and parameterized models (FPM method) to describe the contributions from multiple scattering, to estimate of the positions of hits, and to calculate the energy losses. The track fitting algorithm with the FPM method then minimizes a global non-linear chi-square function to obtain the full information of a track.
