A Simple Remote Auxiliary Inspection System

摘要

In today's highly competitive market, the industry must focus on production yield to keep a competitive advantage. Through Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) or Automated Visual Inspection (AVI), products can be monitored the situation and improved the quality of production. With the development of network technology, operators can use the graphical user interface (GUI) to capture remote visual images and setup the parameters of inspection machines easily. Using a controlling device to operate the multiple inspection machines on the remote site would enhance holistic production efficiency. This paper presents a simple remote auxiliary inspection system that help operators manage multiple inspection machines. The experimental result shows the comparison of various protocols for network streaming. Finally, we choose the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to design the system.
