摘要

Due to global climate change and greenhouse phenomenon, the effects on the environment Taiwan increase year by year. Among them, in urban air, the annual average concentration atmosphere of the ozone has increased from 22 ppbv to 29 ppbv (1998-2006) because of photochemical reactions. It has been shown (Fan etal, 2003) that the ozone chemically reacts easily with VOCs (e.g., á-pinene, etc.). The secondary pollutant formaldehyde has been found resulting from the reaction. We usually enhance ventilation via air exchange with the outdoor to reduce the indoor chemical pollution. In Taiwan, the indoor environment is usually extensively decorated and various office equipment are frequently used most of which emit VOCs. We study whether enhancement of the ventilation to reduce the indoor chemical pollution adversely produces secondary pollutants.
