Adaptive control of a magnetically levitated structure

摘要

The vibration control of a magnetic levitated structure is investigated. An electromagnetic actuator is employed to support the free end of a single supported beam. The actuating force is nonlinear in the coil current and the air gap between the permanent magnets of the actuator. The current gain of the actuator changes with the coil current magnitude and direction. A model following adaptive control with two adjustable gains to adapt for the changes of current gain is designed. Experimental results indicate that this design can reduce the influence of the actuator uncertainty on system performance.
