Adiabaticity analysis of mode conversion using quantum-optical analogy in multimode waveguides

摘要

The adibaticity of mode converters based on optical analogy of simulated Raman adiabatic passage (STIRAP) is investigated using the supermode analysis. The evolution equations for the supermodes are obtained. The shortest device length is determined.
