abstract = "In this paper, an embedded system-based keypoint detection method for the Barthel index measurement is proposed. The proposed system can detect important joints on the human body. By transmitting only the coordinates of joints for the subsequent Barthel index measurement process, the privacy concerns are significantly reduced. The experimental results show that the proposed system can be successfully implemented on embedded system development boards and achieves effective keypoint detection.",
