Annealing and thermoelectric power of (Cu,C)-1223, (Cu,C)-1234 and Ba2Ca2Cu3(CauCuv)O 8+δ

摘要

Tc and thermoelectric power (TEP) of (Cu,C)-1223, (Cu,C)-1234 and Ba2Ca2Cu3(CauCuv)O 8+δ have been systematically studied under different annealing conditions. Although the optimal Tc's of three phases are very close, their dependencies with annealing conditions is very different. Thermoelectric power and Tc of Ba2Ca2Cu3(CauCuv)O 8+δ and (Cu,C)1234 follow the same trend as in other HTS compounds, while TEP of annealed (Cu,C)1223 shows unusual weak dependencies on both temperature and doping level, which could be due to conducting contribution from the charge reservoir.
