摘要

An automatic computer morphometry (ACM) system effectively quantifies liver fibrosis. It consists of three subsystems: image acquisition and section positioning which accurately locate the area of interest of the liver section in the field of view of the microscope; the sample training subsystem which provides a manual training mechanisms to extract the feature for analysis; and the processing subsystem which controls the entire processing flow of the ACM system. The proposed computer morphometry (CM) score is a highly reliable indicator for the severity of liver fibrosis.
