N2 - Reach to grasp function requires coordinated motion and strength of the upper extremities. Interaction between the three-dimensional motion of the shoulder complex and the elbow joint involved in reach function is analyzed based on kinematic principles. The biomechanical factors influencing grasp strength are examined.
