摘要

This study examined in vitro glenohumeral instability under two simulated biomechanical models of rotator cuff tear: 1) tendon-defect model and 2) muscle-unloaded model. The results indicated that rotator cuff tear significantly increased the joint instability. Significant difference also existed between the two tested models. The tendon-defect model underestimated the joint instability in most simulated shoulder positions.
