N2 - In this research, we developed a rapid pathogen screening system for Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) which comprises of an optical diffusometry platform that utilizes bead-based immunoassay and an automated screening program. The screening system would be useful in screening high-risk groups for sight-threatening retinopathy at early stages within two hours by using low volume (2 μl) of tears.
