摘要

The 2014 IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering (CASE 2014) was held 18-21 August 2014 in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The theme of CASE 2014 was Frontiers of Intelligent Automation and Robotics Science and Technology for Better Quality of Life. The purpose of CASE 2014 was to provide broad coverage and dissemination of foundational research in automation among researchers and practitioners. The technical program of CASE 2014 consisted of a keynote speech, three plenary speeches, three workshops, an Industrial Forum on Intelligent Automation: Frontier Technologies with Applications and Business Opportunities, two technical tours, and 40 technical sessions and special sessions in eight tracks.
