摘要
The aims of this study are to investigate the photocatalytic activities regarding to dimethyl sulfide degradation under visible-light irradiation. In this study, TiO2 and cerium-and sulfur-co-doped TiO2 were prepared by a sol-gel method and calcined at 500°C. The characteristics of samples were performed by XRD, TGA, UV-visible, and XPS. The photocatalytic activity of the samples simulating indoor air was evaluated under various inlet pollutant concentrations in ppmv and residence time. The XRD results show that co-doped S- and Ce-would reduce the crystalline size. The UV-visible spectra analyses indicate that the absorption in the visible region of S5/TiO2 and CenS5/TiO2 increases compared with TiO2. The XPS analyses of all photocatalysts show that S exists as S6+ and Ce3+ are more than Ce4+. The operating performance of various co-doped TiO2 show that S5/TiO2 may be the best photocatalyst for DMS conversion and mineralization. Further study is under the way.
