Current-mode circuit for Euclidean distance calculation

摘要

A current-mode circuit to realize the Euclidean distance computation is described in this paper. It is designed based on the subtracter circuit, the absoluter circuit, the squarer/divider circuit and the square-rooter circuit. The modular design makes this circuit can be extended easily. The current-mode approach allows it to be operated at 3.3 V power supply voltage without degrading its dynamic range.
