Design and Control of Stand-alone Combined Heat and Power Systems Using CO2/CH4

摘要

The power plants use methane instead of coal to deal with the issue of global warming, but it will produce some problem about the concentration of carbon dioxide in flue gas that is too low to capture. In order to increase the concentration of carbon dioxide and ensure the more clear power from methane, this research develops a stand-alone combined head and power (CHP) system which combines SOFC/GT by consuming carbon dioxide and methane simultaneously. The simulation shows that a stand-alone combined and power system performs the electric efficiency up to 47.3% and enhances the concentration of carbon dioxide up to 4.7 times of conventional gas power plant. Finally, the dynamic operation including set point tracking control is successfully addressed.
