Design of human-machine interaction windsurfing simulation system

摘要

Recreational aquatics plays an important role in outdoor exercises, however it is rather difficult to play such kind of exercise due to the uncertainty of the sea environment and the weather variation. In order to meet the demands of the recreational aquatics market, the present study develops the mathematical model with six degrees of freedom motion and incorporates a 3-DOF motion platform. The integrated human-machine interactive system including the detection mechanism for the operator's posture and force and 3D virtual reality technique is then established and both economic and practical requirements are considered. The system developed here is equipped with the force feedback function which can provide the reality sense for operator and quite similar to the most popular video game-Wii but more realistic. Both economic and practical requirements are considered in the integrated system. In addition to offer the more reality sense of recreational exercises safely to players, the system can also be extended to incorporate more complicated simulation model for the further application of professional athlete training.
