N2 - In this paper, a novel private cloud-based multi-tenant model creation (MC) scheme, called CMTMCS, for machine tools is developed. The CMTMCS can simultaneously support multiple users from different tenants to create prediction models, while having higher usage rates of virtual machines and being more cost-effective, compared to an existing cloud-based model creation mechanism.
