摘要

Symmetry-constrained Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov theory is used to study deformation within the framework of the Sp(6) fermion dynamical symmetry model. The authors find that the geometrical deformation field is restricted by the Pauli principle; in the Sp(6) dynamical symmetry limit it is shown that, when the particle number for normal parity levels satisfies 2 Omega 1/3<n1<4 Omega 1/3 (where Omega 1 is the pair degeneracy of normal parity levels in the valence shell), the Pauli principle tends to drive the system from axial to triaxial symmetry.
