The elasto-plastic endochronic theory is extended to describe the material behavior of tubes under cyclic bending. Experimental data of cyclic bending of 6061-T6 aluminum and 1018 steel was used for comparison. It is shown that by using the complete differential equations of the theory and by assuming a linear relation between the strain and the curvature, the theory is capable of predicting the moment-curvature response.
