摘要

The susceptibility to intergranular corrosion of Alloy 182 weld metal was evaluated by conducting double-loop electrochemical potentiokinetic reaction (DL-EPR) tests in H 2SO 4 + CH 3CSNH 2 solutions. Three different heat treatments, namely 400°/200h (low temperature annealing, LTA), 621°C /24h (stress relief, SR), and 621°C /24h + 400°C /200h (SR + LTA), were applied to the weld metal. The effect of heat treatment on the degree of sensitization (DOS) of Alloy 182 weld metal was explored. The experimental results showed that the composition of the electrolyte used in DL-EPR test greatly affected the ability to differentiate the DOS of Alloy 182 weld metal. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) was also employed to identify the types of precipitates and to analyze the chemical composition change along the grain boundaries of Alloy 182 weld.
