N2 - This paper evaluates the performance of a serial and parallel connected distributed PV power generation system built by silicon thin film solar cell using the steepest decent MPPT method. Simulation and experimental test results show that this method can track the MPPT nearly 1s under various insolation or partial shading conditions.
