摘要

Biosolids becomes an important problem for increasing amount of quantity. The application of biosolids to agricultural for crop production can be viewed as recycling or utilization of a waste material. A number of disposal and alternatives have involved to accomplishing the biosolids returning to the environment. Some heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Zn,...) were found in the biosolids which generated from the integrated wastewater treatment plant of industrial park in Taiwan. The potential hazard in this biosolids can cause pollution of water resource and impact on plants and animals health. The treatability study of the detoxification process for the biosolids from the integrated wastewater treatment plant of the industrial park was proceeded. In this experiment, chelating agents EDTA and citrate were used to separate the heavy metals from the biosolids. Besides, chelating agent NDDTC (sodium diethyl dithio carbamate) and residues (slag and fly-ash) from the municipal waste incinerator were used to stabilize the heavy metal in the biosolids. The results showed the chelating agent EDTA could minimize the concentration of heavy metal in the biosolids. The combination of the chelating agent NDDTC and incineration residues can successfully detoxify the biosolids, and can meet the government requirement by TCLP test.
