N2 - A new unified definition of the stress intensity factors valid for all possible multi-material interface corners is proposed. The associated singular orders may be real or complex, distinct or repeated. In other words, not only the negative real power singularity but also the oscillatory and logarithmic singularities are included. The comparison and discussion between the present definition and those proposed in the literature are then presented through some analytical relations and numerical examples.
