摘要

A stability criterion in the frequency domain is developed to predict the closed-loop system stability of a slewing flexible structure in a distributed parameter model. By formulating the open-loop transcendental transfer function, the system dynamics can be fully described so that the spillover problem associated with discrete parameter models can be prevented. The noncollocated feedback controller that uses measurements of the tip displacement and velocity is shown to be effective in vibration suppression; moreover, it is immune from instability.
