摘要
Fuzzy logic-based roll controllers are designed to control wing-rock motion of a free-to-roll stinged delta wing. The dynamics of an aircraft is a complex function of flight conditions. The free-to-roll stinged delta wing permits investigation of these variations, as well as the highly nonlinear dynamics of limit cycle at high angle-of-attack. A rule-base fuzzy logic control (FLC) is designed to suppress wing rock phenomena. The goal is to demonstrate the ability of FLC to capture qualitative control strategies and implement highly flexible control behaviors. A database FLC design method is used to improve performance characteristics to a level compatible with the performance of an optimal linear controller while maintaining high performance throughout the whole flight envelope.
