Generalized motion synchronization for two-axes systems

摘要

Motion synchronization for two-axes systems for tracking a general class of desired contours is presented. For achieving the synchronization of two motion control axes and minimizing path tracking errors, a 'frequency-shaped' synchronization error is introduced. This error is incorporated in the frequency shaped quadratic performance index, and the synchronization problem is formulated as a frequency shaped linear quadratic (FSLQ) optimal tracking control problem. Effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated for tracking a circular path by simulation.
