title = "Hand Rehabilitation System Based on Mixed Reality and Virtual Skeleton for Remote Healthcare",
abstract = "Stroke is a significant and ongoing health concern in modern society. Stroke survivors should utilize the critical rehabilitation period known as the golden treatment window to regain their pre-stroke functionality. This work applies mixed reality (MR) and a depth camera to construct a hand rehabilitation system for remote healthcare. The patient with MR glasses can see a virtual hand manipulated by the clinician. The Kalman filter is utilized to stabilize the virtual hand for the issue of hand skeletal jitter. By following the guidance of the virtual hand motion, the patient can receive the clinic-level treatment at home.",
