摘要
A novel method, termed as the integer periodic extension (IPE) method, is proposed to increase frequency resolution and reduce spectral leakage of spectrum for power system harmonics measurement. Power harmonics measurement always conflicts with dynamically unstable load variation. It devaluates the measurement process. Based on the proposed method, a high performance micro computer instrument system is designed and implemented to measure power system harmonic using data windows function and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The proposed method simplifies measurement process and increases measurement accuracy. Case study from practical demand-side power system are demonstrated with improved performance. The measurement results using the padding zeros method and the proposed integer periodic extension (IPE) method are compared and discussed.
