Impedance Control of Self-Sensing Piezoelectric Actuator for Vibration Suppression

摘要

This paper presents a vibration suppression method for a self-sensing piezoelectric actuator based on impedance control design. A velocity observer is proposed to estimate the vibration velocity by the measurement of driving voltage and current signals such that the active vibration suppression can be achieved by feedback control technique. Because the performance of vibration suppression is highly influenced by the mechanical impedance of the self-sensing system, the appropriate controller parameters should be designed from the mechanical impedance perspective. The experimental results are given to show that the proposed vibration suppression approach can effectively reduce the structural resonance phenomenon.
