摘要
An inhomogeneous conductor model involving laminae has been delineated. The ratio of conductivities of two successive laminae is assumed to have a sinusoidal variation with the spatial coordinate. The model has been used to calculate the dielectric modulus values as a function of frequency for two glass systems, viz., an alkali-containing silicate and V2O 5-P2O5, respectively. Theoretical values are found to be in good agreement with the experimental data. The Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts exponent β appears to be correlated with the ratio of the maximum and minimum values of the conductivity ratio between two successive layers.
