摘要
To animate four-dimensional medical imaging, it is often required to interpolate missing data between consecutive 3D imaging volume or * objects. Multidimensional interpolation scheme can be used for this purpose. However, it is in general very computationally intensive. In this paper, we present an interactive approach to animate 3D geometric changes of medical imaging in 4D. We perform interpolation in 2D and treat 3D points stored on images as display primitives to fast visualize 3D change in shapes. This approach avoids interpolation in 3D and therefore it is much faster than traditional multidimensional interpolation methods.
