Linewidth reduction through optical feedback for photonic microwave oscillators using optically injected semiconductor laser dynamics

摘要

Optically injected semiconductor lasers at period-one nonlinear dynamics generate high-frequency microwave oscillation with a broad linewidth. The microwave linewidth can be significantly reduced by two orders of magnitude through optical feedback.
