摘要
The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of the oscillatory pore pressure and deformation of a sandy seabed under wave-induced loadings. The model test was performed and the behaviors of the model seabed were observed to clarify the mechanism of the seabed liquefaction and compaction. A semi-empirical analysis for estimating the penetration depth of the seabed is proposed on the basis of the results obtained from the test. A comparison between the penetration depth of the seabed liquefaction obtained from semi-empirical analysis and that obtained from field measurement is also presented.
