摘要

Due to the addition of silicon powder, 316L austenitic stainless powder aggregates are sintered into duplex stainless steels. The density and tensile strength increase with an increase in silicon powder and sintering temperature. The elongation, however, changes inversely. Aged at 1073 K, the sigma phase precipitated in the sintered alloys. The morphology and precipitation behavior depend on the amount of silicon powder. The hardness of aged specimens is slightly affected by the precipitation. Impact values decrease sigma embrittlement.
