摘要

This paper, a sequel to a previous paper in which sophomore-level software was discussed, is devoted to advanced dynamics software which is utilized in conjunction with the personal computer initiative at VPI&SU. The subjects of vibration and three-dimensional rigid-body attitude dynamics are treated in the advanced modules. As was the case with the lower-level software, the purposes are (a) to enhance the ability of the student to visualize motion and (b) to provide immediate feedback on a change in the motion conditions.
