On the solution of Diophantine equation via generalized state-space realization and control

摘要

In this paper, explicit formulae in solving the polynomial Diophantine equation (PDE) for given right matrix fraction descriptions (RMFDs) are developed. Based on a special coordinate realization and the infinite pole assignment strategies of generalized state-space systems, the class of all polynomial solutions to the PDE can be easily revealed. Besides, the coprime left matrix fraction description (LMFD) with respect to the given coprime RMFD can be simultaneously obtained in terms of the proposed approach.
