N2 - This paper presents the optimal light-emitting-diode (LED) array combination for dual-loop continuous-conduction mode (CCM) boost driver. In order to more precisely characterize the non-linear V-I curve of LEDs, the LED model with Taylor series expression is constructed. Moreover, the system transfer functions are derived by equivalent circuit of the boost driver to predict the system performance, including loop gain and the effect of sub-harmonic oscillation. Based on the given circuit specifications and parameters, the predicted results are compared with the SIMPLIS® simulations and measured results to verify the derived transfer functions.
